Objective

Seminar will provide hands-on experience on design, fabrication, inspection and repair of pressure vessels using real examples. COMPRESS software will be used and participants will be able to gain practical experience on design and analysis problems.

• Selection of Engineering materials, Materials of Construction
• Stress Analysis, Joint efficiency & Shell Design
• Heads, Nozzles, Reinforcement, Flanges, Gaskets & Bolting,
• Horizontal Vessels  & Zick Analysis- Saddle Design; Vertical Vessel- Skirt Design
• Orientation to Application of Pressure Vessel Design Software - COMPRESS.
• Practical case studies will be covered
